Welcome to DJ Cattle Company!!! Located in beautiful Southern Iowa, we are a family owned and operated business. We strive to provide quality Simmental and Simmental composite breeding bulls and heifers. Our goal is to raise cattle that are sound, functional and maternally minded. We breed and AI for added performance and quality. We want to appeal to the diversity of our clients, keeping in mind what they want for an end product, which may mean a herd sire or a maternally sound female. We have a small herd of bucking stock cattle, which we enjoy taking to futurities and events. We AI the females to the best proven buckers and consider it a challenge to figure out which sire best fits the dams phenotype. We also sell Byron Seeds and Masters Choice Corn. Byron Seeds is a company out of Indiana that is committed to locating and distributing the best forage seed available. We believe that feeding the best quality forages allows our livestock to be healthier animals that are more productive in fertility, fleshing and milking ability. High quality forages fed properly to livestock is the most profitable way for our customers to raise meat and milk.
